The Introduction to Mountain Scrambling (IMS) is a 5-day course.

Mountain scrambling is a fun activities and this course is a unique opportunity to experience even more challenging mountain terrain pitched at a level commensurate with the individuals.
The aim of this course is to introduce students to mountain scrambling on easy to moderate graded scrambles. This is a natural progression in summer mountaineering for any Senior Cadets or CFAV who have completed the Summer Mountain Foundation(SMF) and/or anyone who is seeking additional log book experience towards the ML Mountain Leader (Summer) qualification.
This is not a course for novices as the applicant does require a combination of some mountaineering and rock climbing experience plus a good head for heights. The CCAT SMF and BRC qualification would be an advantage but not essential however eqivalent pre course skills are required. The ratio for this course is 1:3.

Personal contributions will not be refunded for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course commencing. There will be 6 vacancies on this course.
