BCU 3* Inland Kayak Award and 4* White Water Kayak Leaders  Award

This expedition is open to CFAV’s from the ACF and CCF. ATC and SCC bids are welcome on a fill up basis.

This is a 8-day advanced Inland Kayak course being conducted in the Pyrenees, France.

Candidates must be water confident and be able to swim 25mts wearing a Buoyancy Aid.

This course will follow the BCU 3* and 4* White Water Inland Kayak syllabus incorporating elements of  Foundation Safety and Rescue Training for 3* candidates and White Water Safety and Rescue Training for 4* leaders.

Candidates will be transported to and from the Pyrenees by minibus; all members of the expedition will be accommodated under canvas on a self catering basis. Paddling and camping equipment can be provided by CCAT if required. Full expedition insurance and instruction is included. All BCU fees are included in the personal contribution.

Candidates must have completed the BCU 2* star award or KFC/K2F as a pre-requisite to attend the BCU 3* white water course. For candidates wishing to attend the BCU 4* White Water Leaders award candiadtes must have completed the BCU 3* White Water award.

The personal contribution for this course is £250; bids must be placed through WESTMINSTER and will not be excepted until the course fee has been received.Personal contributions will not be refunded for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course commencing.  All administration costs will be deducted from personal contributions prior to any refund being issued. This could be as much as £150.

There will be 12 vacancies on the 3* course and 12 on the 4* course
