Rock Climbing, Calpe Spain

This expedition is open to CFAV’s and cadets aged 17+from the ACF and CCF. ATC and SCC bids are welcome on a fill up basis.

This is a 8-day single and multi-pitch rock climbing expedition incorporating the JS Rock Climbing Foundation (RCF) award. This is an opportunity to climb bolted sea outcrops and mountain routes to gain further logbook experience.

Candidates must have successfully completed Basic Rock Climbing (BRC) as the minimum pre-requisite to attending this expedition.

This course includes clothing and equipment, access and conservation, mountain hazards, weather, care and use of equipment, rope management and knot tying, belaying techniques, climbing techniques, multi pitch climbing, abseiling, belays systems, gear placement/protection, introduction to leading in the outdoor environment.
Included in the expedition cost is flights to and from the UK, accommodation, catering, climbing equipment, insurance and instruction.

The personal contribution for this course is £250; bids must be placed through WESTMINSTER and will not be excepted until the course fee has been received.Personal contributions will not be refunded for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course commencing.  All administration costs will be deducted from personal contributions prior to any refund being issued. This could be as much as £150.
