Restrictions. This course is specifically open to Cadets aged 15 years from the ACF and CCF. Cadets aged 16 years who have little or no Adventurous Training (AT) may also apply. Candidates must be water confident and be able to swim 25mts and have a good head for heights.
Course Content. The Multi Activity Package (MAP) is a 5-day course. There 30 vacancies on each MAP Bavaria course. The course will be split into 5 groups that will rotate around each one of the Adventurous Training activities: mountaineering, rock climbing, canyoneering, inflatable 2-person canoe white water and klettersteig. The outcome of the course is to deliver a fun and challenging programme providing an introduction to a mixture of Adventurous Training activities.
Notes. Candidates should be physically fit, free from injury and have a keen interest in adventurous activities. Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be issued a CCAT course certificate.
*The course cost includes: transport from and back to the UK, accommodation, meals, technical clothing and equipment and instruction.
*The course will be based at a lodge in Sonthofen, Bavaria.
CCAT Application Process.
A CCAT course application is available on WESTMINSTER and the CCAT website

An electronic course application needs to be placed onto WESTMINSTER by your ACF/CCF unit.
The CCAT course application form needs to be completed in full, legible signed and authorised by your unit ACF/CCF. The course application needs to be sent to HQ CCAT, Capel Curig, by post or email with the course fee (50% deposit cheque made payable to CCAT or BACs). Ensure the name of the student and course is written on the back of the cheque or included in the BACs payment reference.
