This is open to Cadets aged 15 years from the ACF and CCF. Please note applications will be sifted after the closing date of 31 May. Successful applicants will be informed thereafter.
Coach travel is included from various pickup points in the UK.
The Bavaria Multi Activity Package (MAP) is a 5-day course for Cadets aged 15 years. It will be based at a very comfortable Lodge in Sonthofen, Bavarian Alps, Southern Germany.
No previous experience is required. Candidates must be:
• Able to swim (passed Cadets swim test) and be water confident.
• Have a good head for heights.
• Have a reasonable level of fitness.
Travel will be by coach leaving from a central UK location and travelling overnight to Bavaria to return at the end of the course (Sat to Sat). There are 30 x student vacancies on the MAP course that will be split into 5 x groups each comprising 6 x students. Each group will participate in a day of each of the following activities, mountain trekking, rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoneering and a white water river experience in 2 person inflatable canoes. Inclusive in the cost is accommodation, full board, equipment, instruction and transport.
This is a fun and challenging week of mixed activities.
To apply, candidates are to complete a CCAT Course application; this along with a 50% course deposit payment is to be sent to the candidate’s ACF County HQ or CCF Contingent HQ for authorisation and for the bid to be placed on WESTMINSTER. Candidates are to ensure the course application is clearly legible and completed in full. The personal contribution for this course is £100. Course payments will not be refunded for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course commencing.
